Creative Soul Cafés by Nine Elms Arts Ministry are places to nurture your wellbeing, develop new creative skills, meet new people and have fun – no artistic experience is needed. Our regular Saturday events at The Alchemist, Embassy Gardens and Art’otel, Battersea Power Station book out as soon as they are advertised! We are delighted to offer a ‘taster’ workshop as part of Embassy Garden’s Feel Good Festival led by Artist and Creative Director Anna Cowie

 In the style of the artist Matisse, you’ll use scissors to cut shapes and forms inspired by themes such as the human figure and water. The first part of the workshop will be a series of simple tasks to replicate Matisse’s working process - cutting shapes directly, without drawing or sketching, you will then develop these shapes and master a composition so that you will leave with a unique handmade piece of art that you can frame and hang on your wall. This workshop is for adults of all abilities.

 £10 donation/ticket
