HeART of Christmas

Our 2024 festive programme in Nine Elms

Explore an immersive light experience which takes you to the heart of the festive season

The experience begins as you enter the art’beat studio inside art’otel London Battersea, where the space will be transformed by artist Alexa Muen, with a multi-sensory art installation featuring lights, mirrors, sounds, and even fragrance.

Art Installation & Exhibition

Artist Alexa Muen, known for her ground-breaking work in light-based multimedia art, has crafted interconnected artworks: Rejoice - Reflect - Renewal - Reborn - Release, to create a magical immersive journey. This multi-sensory art installation celebrates hope and togetherness and offers a place to escape the rush of the festive season, giving visitors a chance to pause and engage with art and community as they journey into the heart of Christmas.

This festive installation is free of charge and open from 30th November 2024 – 4th January 2025, every day from 12pm to 8pm.

(children must be accompanied by adults at all times).

Workshops & Events

There will be a full programme of events running throughout the season, such as festive craft workshops for adults led by locally-based artists and “Meet the Artist - Lates” when Alexa Muen will lead an exclusive journey through her installation.

Families & Children

Families are encouraged to bring their little ones to experience the magic of art, with specific events like the “Heart of Bethlehem” on Christmas Eve for a retelling of the Christmas story with craft activities and carol singing.
