Bags of Hope: Christmas 2022
‘Bags of Hope’ for children in Nine Elms this Christmas
During the pandemic lockdown Nine Elms Arts Ministry were a founding partner in the award winning Create & Learn Play Kits project, which distributed 10,000 packs of creative resources and stationery to primary school children most in need across Wandsworth.
This December, we wish to distribute 600+ Bags of Hope to children in local primary schools. The aim is to bring some Christmas joy amidst the real challenges of the cost of living crisis, while creating an opportunity for families to enjoy some creative time together this holiday season.
Each bag will contain: a Christmas story book, Christmas activity book, Christmas crafts, felt-tip pens, stickers and some sweet treats.
Can you help?
You are invited to be part of this festive, community project. We are asking for donations of the following items:
Kid’s Christmas Selection Packs (small or medium)
Small boxes of Christmas biscuits
Small packets/tubes of Christmas sweets
Bags of Chocolate Coins

For the past three years Nine Elms Arts Ministry have partnered with businesses, community groups, churches and artists to delight residents and visitors with the Nine Elms Advent Calendar Art Trail. This year Bags of Hope and our Creative Soul Christmas Pop-Up craft workshops aims to bring something of the same creative joy in these challenging times.
If you are a business who would like to support this initiative, we would love to hear from you.
