The Art of Dreaming  with Sol Golden Sato

Dreams harbour a unique place in life, between reality, the surreal, and even the spiritual realms. 
Dreams offer us an abundance of ideas to draw from to create stunning works of art. 

This workshop will offer an opportunity for people to share and create art from their dreams to enhance wellbeing. Using techniques devised by the Surrealists to evoke dream responses.

We start with some doodles or a rough sketch, through which we will develop the piece and its colour palette.  
These “rough drafts” are the painting sources from which the artist creates their paintings and which guide  the painting process. 

Our dreams are personal to us but also an experience we all share. We will not be seeking to interpret dreams but the workshop offers the opportunity to enhance a sense of connection and understanding whilst creating some unique and personal art to take away.  

Creative Soul Cafés by Nine Elms Arts Ministry are places to nurture your wellbeing, develop new creative skills, meet new people and have fun – no artistic experience is needed. 
 
Sol Golden Sato is an international artist based in London. Sol works from a philosophy that everyone is a creative being and art should be available to all.
