Workshop: Paper Cutting | Creative Soul Café Tuesdays

CREATIVE SOUL CAFÉ TUESDAYS

Paper Cutting Workshop with Chloe Campbell: Create your own handheld fan

Join us for our next wellbeing event - part of our Creative Soul Café series - make your own handheld fan at this workshop hosted by papercutting artist, Chloe Campbell.

Chloe will guide you through the art of papercutting and enable you to draw and papercut your own stunning paper fan, drawing inspiration from photographs of the fan collection at the Fan Museum in Greenwich and Chloe’s own and paper-cut fans

The process involves patience, and the workshop will give us a chance to reflect on this theme and consider how nurturing patience can help our wellbeing. No previous experience of papercutting is required. Over 18s only as sharp cutting tools will be used.

Papercutting is a unique art process and Chloe specialises in papercuts of architecture. In her 2023 London exhibition she showcased her playing cards and papercuts of the 52 churches in the city of London built by the office of Sir Christopher Wren.

This initiative is kindly supported by Westhill Endowment

We are delighted to open booking for another relaxing and FREE creative session. These midweek evening sessions are more intimate, designed round an uplifting theme and with more time for mindful reflection.

Absolutely no experience needed. Adults of all ages and abilities welcome.
