NEW Creative Soul Café Tuesdays! Create Your Own Journal of Joy

We are thrilled to launch ‘Creative Soul Café Tuesdays’ – the latest addition to our FREE Creative Wellbeing programme. These sessions – led by fantastic artists - will be more intimate, designed round an uplifting theme and with more time for mindful reflection.  Only 10 places available so book quickly!

For our launch - at the wonderful Two Little Giraffes Café and Gelateria - we are delighted to welcome Community Textiles Artist Jasmine Karis, to help us create our very own 'Journal of Joy', prompting us to reflect on what happiness and joy mean to us.

The workshop will encompass simple processes allowing each participant to create their own journal base and also introduce simple stitching and embroidery techniques to decorate and embellish the fabric journal covers. We will be connecting with raw natural materials which you will be encouraged to touch and experiment with through stitching. You will also have access to drawing and collaging materials to visually express what brings you personal joy.

This Creative Soul Café is a wonderful opportunity get creative in a safe, low-pressure environment, focusing on nurturing your wellbeing and getting to know your neighbours. No experience needed. Adults of all ages and abilities welcome

Jasmine Karis is a freelance community textiles artist firmly rooted in creativity, community, nature and wellbeing. She was recently resident artist at art’otel London, Battersea Power Station.
